This great adventure of the Anne&Max Boutique Hotel is led by experienced franchisees Bram Janssen and Ralph Prumper, whom you may already know from the Anne&Max Utrecht Domkwartier. As you're used to from us, it's all about coziness and a Planet Friendly vision. That means taking care of our planet in everything we do. This new location is no exception, with delicious coffee, breakfast, high-tea, lunch and drinks. And yes, you read correctly: we are introducing an evening menu for the first time!

Planet Friendly

Wobbe van Zoelen, the proud founder of Anne&Max: "We are extremely proud to open the thirtieth Anne&Max and our first boutique hotel in the Netherlands. With Anne&Max we want to create a place where everyone feels at ease at any time of the day and we are now adding evening and night. Everything within our concept is chosen with care. From products to interiors and from work clothes to the toiletries in the hotel rooms. Opening this new branch means a lot to us. By growing and expanding our concept we can make more and more positive impact with our Planet Friendly vision."

Bram explains that he really likes the obviousness of the Planet Friendly concept: "Everyone is welcome and you can assume that all the products used are natural, tasty and responsible. Hospitality and good food and drink are of course paramount, but at the back everything is also just right."

Opening of the 30thbranch

Ralph and Bram, our franchisees, already have a successful Anne&Max restaurant Utrecht Domkwartier. The new location is close to The Dom on a so-called high traffic location. That means that we can receive a special mix of guests here, including students, tourists and day guests who want a coffee or a drink after shopping. "People who are not yet familiar with the concept see the atmosphere and come in. All this makes for our success. Therefore, with our second location, Ralph and I again chose a place close to The Dom," Bram says.

Years ago, Bram and Ralph first came across Anne&Max. They were both studying in Amsterdam at a time when there were only a few places to study with really good coffee. "Anne&Max was our favorite. The staff were always friendly and there was a nice, personal atmosphere. Years later, we wanted to go into business together and came across Anne&Max again. We seized our chance," says Bram. After two years they are still very enthusiastic about our franchise formula and ready for this new challenge.

From living room to bedroom

The Anne&Max Boutique Hotel sits above the new Anne&Max restaurant and officially opens its doors March 1. Bram shares, "It was always a dream to open a hotel. We wanted to carry on Anne&Max's living room concept into a hotel experience." And that is exactly what we are doing. Starting in the spring, all rooms will be transformed one by one into Anne&Max style and until then, we welcome our guests in our 30e establishment. With a Mediterranean evening menu to match the Planet Friendly concept, we are extending the Anne&Max feeling to the evening hours. In the afternoon, stay longer and order drinks from the expanded wine list or beers on tap. In the evening, enjoy shared dining with friends, your partner or family.
