About us

We are Bram and Ralph, proud owners of the first Anne&Max Boutique Hotel. We opened our doors in February 2024, it's a dream come true to welcome our guests here now. We hope that everyone's stay here feels like a home away from home and that you get everything out of your stay in Utrecht. It is a great city full of surprises. Our hotel is located right in the historic center, allowing you to discover everything that makes the city so special. Whether you love cozy cafes, shopping, vibrant restaurants or the beautiful canals, everything is within walking distance.

History

This National Monument stands on historic ground. It was once home to a fort full of soldiers and traders, and in the Middle Ages was the power center of the bishop of Utrecht. In the eighteenth century the house was built to meet the requirements and fashion of the time and became an elegant winter residence for the prominent De Beaufort family.

After various functions, from city government to a luxury interior design business, it became the first Anne&Max Boutique Hotel in January 2024, carefully preserving its historic elements.

At Anne&Max Boutique Hotel you will find three pleasant room types to suit all your needs. From the brand new Anne&Max restaurant, you walk straight to the hotel rooms, located on the second and third floors. Whether you are looking for a cozy place for a night or a luxurious retreat, with us you will find the perfect room for your stay!

We offer the Standard Suite, a comfortable and stylish room with all essential amenities. Ideal for a short stay or business visit.
The Deluxe Suite offers extra space and comfort with a bathtub or shower, perfect for when you want to stay longer or need more relaxation.
For the ultimate luxury experience, we have the Executive Suite, with a private rooftop terrace and stunning views of the iconic Domtoren. This suite is ideal for special occasions or an extra pampering moment.

Food

In our living room, start your day right with a delicious breakfast, enjoy coffee with homemade cake during the day, or sink into your chair for a refreshing iced tea. At night, the atmosphere changes and you can relax with friends or family during a shared dining experience, choosing from a selection of Mediterranean dishes to share. Our evening menu also includes plenty of tasty finger foods perfect for sharing with a cocktail or good glass of wine. All products on the menu are Planet Friendly. This means that our products are therefore both good for the planet, and good for you. The products are healthy, mostly organic and made without unnecessary additives. So you can enjoy carefree!

Our bar is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a cozy atmosphere both during the day and in the evening. During the day we offer a wide selection of coffee, tea, fresh juices, and light snacks. It is a fine environment to catch up with friends or just relax with a good book. In the evening, the bar transforms into a cozy lounge with cocktails, wines, and specialty beers. Our bar offers a warm and inviting ambiance for any time of the day. The best part? After a nice drink, you can walk straight to your hotel room in this first Anne&Max Boutique Hotel.
