Sowing for the future

At Anne&Max, we believe in more than just delicious coffee and our cafés coziness . We believe in sustainability and giving back to our environment. That's why we are proud of our collaboration with The Pollinators, which is dedicated to helping the bee and other pollinating insects during the "Feed the Bee" campaign.

Lending a hand

Some of the Anne&Max team, along with lots of other volunteers, recently rolled up their sleeves to pack hundreds of packets of native flower seeds. We are doing this for the Feed the Bee campaign. The packets of flower seeds were sent to 6,000 different bee food banks throughout the Netherlands and Belgium. These are households that register as food banks, where anyone can pick up organic flower seeds for free. These seeds help create more biodiversity and food sources for our pollinating friends.

Anne, we need to talk about the flowers and the bees for a moment. Max

Enter the Bee

For several years, National Seeding Day has taken place on Earth Day. At Anne&Max, we do our part by giving a bag of flower seeds as a gift with every purchase of an Easter Box or Easter Shelf. We encourage everyone to plant these seeds to give nature a helping hand.

This is not an afterthought

This action is part of our partnership with the National Seed Coalition. We believe it is a necessity to take action for the bees and other pollinators that play a vital role in our food chain. It's no secret that many pollinating insects are doing poorly. Due to urbanization, pesticide use and monotony in the landscape, these crucial animals are struggling. The decline of bees can have significant impacts on our food supply and natural ecosystems. By planting local native flowers, we not only help increase biodiversity, but also bring more color and life to our cities and towns.

National Seed Coalition

Together with The Pollinators, we invite our guests to support this important cause. You will receive native flower seeds from us with your Easter shelf or box to plant on National Seeding Day. Will you join us in this thriving mission?
