Your living room on Fred Street, in the Statenkwartier

Right in the middle of Frederik Hendriklaan (known to everyone simply as “the Fred”), you’ll find Anne&Max in a former pharmacy building. As soon as you close the door behind you, the bustling shopping street gives way to a warm, cozy living room. In the front, you can look out the window onto the neighborhood’s “ coziness ”; in the back, the high ceilings, plenty of greenery, and cozy nooks make it easy to linger for a few hours over high tea.
The Fred is the kind of street where you run into each other. For a quick cup of specialty coffee after running errands, a leisurely breakfast with friends, a lunch date, high tea, or an afternoon of work with good Wi-Fi and a large pot of tea within arm’s reach. Meanwhile, Max pours a chai latte, while a play area and a special kids’ menu are ready for the youngest guests. This makes the café feel just as familiar to regular neighborhood residents as it does to people discovering the Fred for the first time.
Meetings with specialty coffee and a healthy dose of creativity
Above Anne & Max’s living room is a bright, inviting meeting space where working feels just a little more pleasant than at the office. The space can accommodate groups of about ten to twenty people and features French doors, plenty of natural light, and all the amenities needed for a brainstorming session, training, presentation, or team meeting. And the best part is: while you’re up here, coffee is being brewed downstairs. Start the day with a group breakfast, take a sweet break halfway through, or join us afterward for a hearty lunch. All you have to do is figure out the agenda. Contact us at [email protected] to explore the options.
