Your living room on Van Hoytemastraat
On Van Hoytemastraat, right in the heart of Benoordenhout, you’ll find Anne&Max Den Haag Hoytema. It’s a bright, spacious living room with high ceilings, plenty of natural light, and a terrace where locals, families, and visitors love to relax. Start your day with a hearty breakfast, stop by for a specialty coffee, or pull up a chair for a leisurely lunch before taking a walk through the Haagse Bos or around the city.
The espresso is “ organic ” and direct trade, and we also serve it as decaf or iced. Or would you prefer an organic filter coffee from Ethiopia? Max certainly would! We’ve also thought of our youngest guests, with a “babyccino” on the kids’ menu and plenty of space for them to have fun in the play area.

Van Hoytemastraat, named after The Hague artist Theodorus van Hoytema, is located in the heart of one of The Hague’s greenest and most distinctive neighborhoods. With its wide avenues, stately homes, and peaceful, international atmosphere, this is a place where you’ll want to linger a little longer. Anne&Max The Hague Hoytema fits right in and serves as a great starting point for a walk to the Haagse Bos or the famous Japanese Garden at the Clingendael Estate, both of which are just a short walk away. For groups of 40 to 75 guests, we’ll reserve the lounge exclusively for you between 6:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. We’ll take care of the drinks, tasty bites, and a cozy atmosphere, so all you have to do is enjoy the company.
