Head Barista

As Head Barista at Anne&Max, you’ll be a hands-on leader who coaches and inspires, while sharing your knowledge and passion for our specialty coffee in a practical way.

Start of the day

You start by setting up the bar and coffee machines so that everything is ready for a good start to the day. Together with the other baristas, you briefly discuss the schedule and key points to focus on. You check to make sure everything is in place and ensure that everyone knows what the focus of the day is.

Throughout the day

You’ll actively work behind the bar, preparing specialty coffees and other beverages while keeping an eye on quality and teamwork in the lounge. You’ll help your colleagues in the lounge as needed, share your knowledge, and ensure that everyone works happily and according to the Anne&Max methodology. In between, you’ll keep the bar tidy, restock supplies, and monitor the quality of the specialty coffee. Later in the day, you’ll coordinate with the manager on how to structure next week’s barista training,

End of the Day

After your shift, you’ll work with the baristas to thoroughly clean the bar, restock supplies, and make sure everything is neatly set up and ready for the next day. You’ll briefly review the day, provide feedback where necessary, and ensure a smooth handoff.

Become Head Barista at Anne&Max

As Head Barista at Anne&Max, you’ll work alongside the other baristas to create our guests’ first moment of joy. You’ll prepare specialty coffee and other beverages with care and ensure that every order meets Anne&Max standards. From behind the bar, you’ll keep an eye on things and help create the warm, living-room-like atmosphere that makes our guests feel welcome.

In addition, you’ll lead the barista team on the shop floor. You’re a hands-on manager who coaches, mentors, and inspires colleagues while sharing your knowledge and passion for coffee in a practical way.
In doing so, you’ll work to ensure an optimal guest experience, efficient operations, and the achievement of the “living room’s” goals.
