Anne&Max is located in Westfield Mall of the Netherlands in Leidschendam. The shopping center has undergone a complete transformation—from the old Leidsenhage to a new building with facades made of special concrete and a translucent roof. Anne&Max has evolved alongside that transformation and has found a place there that is entirely its own.
When you step inside, you’ll find yourself in a space that feels open and airy. In the lounge chairs, you can lose yourself in a newspaper or a good book. At the reading table, you can relax for a moment or play a game. By the windows at the front, it’s a different story: people-watching, sipping coffee, watching the world go by. Breakfast at the mall
A mall has everything, but not every restaurant understands how a morning should start. Max’s Breakfast sure does. On the plate: a crispy croissant, asourdough bread ’s specialty baked just for Anne&Max, scrambled eggs with salmon or bacon, yogurt or quark with homemade granola and fresh fruit, and a freshly squeezed juice. The kind of breakfast where, halfway through, you think: this is exactly what I needed.
For those who want to share a table: the Breakfast for 2 is our most popular shared option. If you’d like to make it a little extra special, the “Take Your Time” Breakfast includes a glass of sparkling wine and a pistachio croissant. Everything on the breakfast menu is available all day long.
Coffee at the mall: Anne or Max will make it for you
There are places in a mall where coffee is just a side dish. At Anne&Max, it’s the starting point. The espresso is made from organic, direct-trade coffee beans from Peru, with notes of red cherry and dark chocolate. The pour-over coffee comes from Ethiopia. On the menu: flat white, cappuccino, filter coffee, chai latte, decaf, and iced coffee. If you want to take another lap around the mall after your morning coffee, grab an iced coffee to go.

At a mall, you’ll meet all kinds of people. Some have been out and about for hours, while others are just getting started. Anne&Max has a place for everyone. There are gluten-free choices, and the kitchen staff is knowledgeable about allergens: feel free to ask.
Children are very welcome. We offer a children's menu with its own selection of dishes and drinks, and there is room for a stroller. The reading table in the middle of the space is also a favorite among families who want to take a break from shopping.
After breakfast: the mall, or further afield
After a leisurely breakfast at the Mall of the Netherlands, you won’t have to travel far to reach your next destination. With 280 stores and four anchor stores, there’s plenty to do. But if you’re looking to get some fresh air, Leidschendam is just a 15-minute drive from the Dutch dunes and less than 20 minutes from The Hague’s city center.
Near the mall are the Vliet and the green banks of Leidschendam-Voorburg: a lovely route for a walk or a short bike ride. And for those coming to the mall from Voorburg or Rijswijk, Anne&Max is a familiar stop along the way.
